BMOs Afternoon Platoon
Weekday afternoons will never be the same as Brian B-Mo Montgomery returns to his afternoon post with a different look and a marches to a beat all his own in the AFTERNOON PLATOON! Alot has happened since the former host of the Morning Madhouse was last seen, thanks in part to Segeants Smallwood and Hernandez at the U.S. Army recruiting station on Olive Avenue.
B-Mo told us about the reason behind the show, his look and his new secret weapon. "Well the idea came from my appreciation for all of the servicemen and woman who serve our country and the ties they have with our area. The "Platoon" is dedicated to them for the service to our country they perform."
The reason behind the "new look"? (laughing) The mullet which was more of a party in the back than business in the front had been the trademark since high school and after Sarge was kind enough to swear me in and appoint me a "honorary" member of the United States Army....I had to do it! I felt it would've been an insult to the veterans and the active members of our armed forces! I'm too old and have way too many physical limitations that prevent me from serving my country as they do, so I'll serve my country "one song at a time" and keep the head shaved in tribute." M.I.A Mondays - Every Monday during the 3 O'clock hour, B-Mo goes looking for your favorite artists who haven't been in the lime light, yet made an impression with their music. TWO Fer' & Tuter "TUESDAYS" - Every Tuesday, it's back-to-back favorites from your favorites throughout the Afternoon Platoon and then for all the little ones it's Tutor Time. Our new "hostess with the mostess" will lend a hand to some of your most challenging homework assignments. So if you've got a problem you need a hand with...our "Lady A" is there to help! (and you don't even need an apple for the teacher either!)
"WHAT THE HELL" WINS-DAYS - Ever had a situation that left you puzzled..something that made you say "WHAT THE HELL?" Our problem solving duo lend their expertise to whatever is puzzling you (and if they can't they'll try to distract you with some really cheesy prizes)
THIRSTY THURSDAYS - It's Thursday tradition is the hallowed halls of HANK as we kick off "Beer Thirty" during the 3 O'clock hour. Call us on the HANK hotlines at (209) 388-1063 to get yours played.
FOR THE TROOPS FRIDAYS - If you have someone who has served or is currently serving our country at home or abroad, we want to spotlight them. Send us a photo and we'll put them on the HANK website and take your dedications as we say thanks for all they've done and do. On top of showing our support for the servicemen and women, we'll kickoff the 3 O'Clock hour with a "21 GUN Salute" where it's 21 minutes of number ones throughout the country charts!
